For winning the 125cc main even t, McGrath earned $2000 in priz e money in add itio n to $5000 from Honda's co nt inge ncy program. It's been almost two years since the winningest rider in supercross history suf ered a broken right wrist during a practice session at the Cainesville 250cc National MX in Florida. johnson's injury occurred when Danny Storbeck landed on top of him, and it came at a time when he had won the first five Camel Superrross races of the year. Johnson 's wrist injury looked to be a thing of the past. however , when he won the last race of the Masters of Motocross Series Supercross in Maastricht, Holland, in November of 1990_ beating Jdf Stanton and Jean-Michel Bayle. It was an encouraging moment for the Californian, knowing that the 199 mel Superoross Series was rapidly approaching and that it would be his last.
