CIRCUITO DE JEREZ – ANGEL NIETO / JEREZ, SPAIN
P58
Dominique Aegerter (77)
of the Dynavolt Intact
GP team picked up his
first FIM Enel MotoE
World Cup victory after
a dramatic race in
Andalucia. Jordi Torres
(Pons Racing 40) and
Mattia Casadei (Ongetta
SIC58 Squadracorse)
completed the podium
as reigning Cup holder
Matteo Ferrari (Trentino
Gresini MotoE) and
Spanish GP winner
Eric Granado (Avintia
Esponsorama Racing)
crashed at the Dani
Pedrosa corner with
two laps to go. Aegerter
now leads the standings
with 41 points ahead
of Torres at 30 and
Granado at 28. CN
Tatsuki Suzuki
(24) stayed out of
harm's way and
took a close win
in Moto3 ahead of
John McPhee (17),
Celestino Vietti
(13) and Darryn
Binder (40). Binder
went all in on the
last lap, passing
McPhee for second
but running wide
onto the back
straight, which
dropped him back
to fourth. In the
championship,
Arenas still leads
with 50 points
ahead of Tatsuki
Suzuki (44) and
McPhee (40).
