Going into the final round of Silver Creek 's series, Clark had th e edge by 12 points, but cou ld n' t cou nt on any winner 's continge ncies from Mo un tain Motorcycle, Krause Racing o r Sco tt USA. Al the start of th e first Junior Mini moto, T itan Cycle /Honda-Yamaha of Sta tesvill esponso red Clark ju mped 10 an early lead and appeared 10 have everything under con tro l u ntil the end of th e second lap wh en a tree brake-checked hi m in the last h airpin . Do mb ros ky and Jason Sai n zin ged pas t, locked in their ow n ba ttle for position, while Clark struggled 10 rega in his equilibrium and fini sh the mal a to sa lvage what points he cou ld. Two laps down, he crawled back onto the saddle to putt off in searc h of a finish . Meanwhile Dombrosky and Sain had been puuing on a real show. with Sain threatening In every comer and Dombrosky ou tpulli ng him o n the straights. Fi nally on lap four, Sain pulled a ba nzai mov e on the hill to take th e lead for the rest of the race. Pau l Justu s managed to gel around Grant Gibbs to claim third, while Clark limped home in l Sth . Well aware that vict ory rest ed on th e o u tco me of th e seco nd mote, Clark kept hi s head and came through in fine Slyle, Blasting off th e line in front of th e field of 14, that's where he stayed, as he mad e no mistakes. Sain and Dombrosky set off in pursu it bUI cou ldn' t catch Clark. Sain finished second a nd Paul J USIUS n ipped Dombrosky o n the last lap to cla im third. The win ga ve Clark sixth overa ll a n d the series w in b y six p oin ts over Dombrosky. Clark turned 10 his backu p Honda for the first Senior Min i mow.
