The 1990 Grand National Cross
Country Series is the most prestigi ous event of its kind. Twelve
races involving 15 classes over
the most grueling terra in you
can imagine. To say "the com petition is tough" is an understatement. But 12 of the 15
class champions share one th ing
in common .. .they used Yokohama Tires to battle their way to
the w inners circle. In fact the

awarded trips to Japan for the
Tokyo Supercross. With the level
of competition at the Loretta
Lynn Finals this is not an easy

with a bang , Jeff Farmer on an
FZR600 shod with Yokohama
003's won the 600 Supersport
Race at Daytona, eclipsing the
lap time record set by .John
Kocinski in 1989. 1989Superbike
Champion Jam ie James used
Yokohama T ires for most all the
1990superbike and GP1 classes
that he competed in. Also our
congratulations to Fabian Cortez
for hisimpressive GP2 championship wh ile using Yokohamas for
all but one of the races.
