See page six for by T om Van Beveren. I was disap pointed to see Ro n , Sto ne's comment (Voices, October 17. issue ) concerni ng th e televised WERA Formula USA road race series. He persona lly ma y not like the commentary by the other hosts , but I (as well as a multitude of ot hers ) feel they are doing an excellent jo b. I am not aware of where the hosts (with the obvio us excep tion of Keith Code) got their knowledge of road racing (or who they are) but they seem to know it pretty well. My friends and I wait every week with ant icipation and exci tement for the next weekly show and hope it continues next year. Nicknames like the one Mr. Stone refers to are common in every sport and are not always invented by the person who is nick named. If Mr. Ston e does not lik e th e com ment a ry then si mp ly turn the volume off and enjoy the racing. T he fact is you simp ly can no t " wa tch another chan nel" as I know of no other series like the one Mr. Code is producing. Until thi s series, you were lucky to catch televised road racing two or three times a year. Keep up th e good work, Keith !
