second for half the moto before Antunez and Kehoe flew by. Dymond took the checkered flag a quarter of a track in front of Antunez and Kehoe. Telford edged Radzinski out of the third spot. Antunez and Crai g Canoy almost collided at the start of the first 125cc Pro moto, but Antunez grabbed the lead and left Canoy to ho ld off Kehoe. Canoy held Kehoe off for two laps, allowing Ant unez to get awa y. Kehoe pushed hard the remainder of the moto and almost passed Antunez on the fina l lap. Kehoe holeshot the second rnoto and disappeared. Antunez started poorly and had his hands full with Dustin Evans. Antunez finally got by Evans and rode very aggressive ly trying to reel in Kehoe, which he did . Antunez tried to dive under Kehoe in a sweeping tum and lost his front end in the process. Kehoe opened up a six-second lead and held it to the finish. 01 du rin g the tw o-da y Mo to cross North west-sa nc tio ned Oregon State Motocross Championsh ip at Alba ny Supercro ss. Graves, win ner of the overall 125cc Pro class title, used 1-14-1 fini shes during both days" wh ile Hart nailed down the 250cc Pro crown after 2-1-1-I 'showings; Denn is Sweeten cap ture d the Open pro titl e via a I· 1-1-1 sweep. Hart, a Portland area rid er, despi te heavy pressure from rid ers around the Northwest, used the event as training for the upcoming Sacramento Supercross , as well as pi cking up a goodsized ch un k of the purse mon ey up for grabs by tra ck manager Bob ' Leach . Graves, taking a break from the l25cc Nationals, did likewise in the 125cc Pro class, but due to a first-rnoto fourth-place finish in Sunday's action, Don Bisceglia won the day 's overa ll in the class. Results Saturday In order for a rider to be eligible for an overall titl e in each respective class, a rider had to con test and fini sh all four motos throughout the weekend. Saturday's action showcased the majority of the Northwest's hottest upand-com ing rid ers, as well -as several of yesterda y's top rid ers, inclu din g former Team Honda ride r Ron Sun. Despite being som e 50 pounds over his physique of years past, Sun proved that he had the righ t SLUff and netted , Saturday's overall win in th e 30-40 Pro class. Graves rod e in smooth and £lawl ess style during both of th e 125cc Pro motos, but didn't have it as easy as he would have liked, as Hart hounded the sou th em Oregon speedster all th e way to th e fin ish in moto one, while Honda rid er J eff Dail y picked up thi rd at mot e 's end. Moto two was much th e same as Graves led the field around the twomile, sa nd-li ned cour se to cap 0 [[ Satur day's class win, while Hart's 22 showings gave him second, foll owed by Kawasak i rid er Chad Berry (3-3). Local rider Ga ry " Bad Boy" Beyer, riding a KTM ; launched to the head of th e pa ck in th e first 250cc Pro class moto, sh owing that he's still capable of p icking -u p a win, beating Hart and Dail y. Hart got the nod in the second con test to take the class win ahead of Beyer and Daily . Kawasaki T eam Green 's Danny Ulven posted impressive 125 and 250cc Interm ediate class wins. 50 STK J}.I: I. Graves' ' lead al so succumbed to a soi l sa m p le, allowing Hart, wh o initially started in fifth , to take the lead and ho ld it to the finish followed by Bisceglia, Mike Bell, Graves and Daily. Olsen found h imself out from, once again, in the second rnoto , and this time held the lead much longer, even with heavy pressure from a horde of riders. Four laps into the race th e top six were never more than 12 feet apart with Olsen leading the way. Things howev er, changed as a pil eup took ou t Olsen, Bell and Washington 's Scott Grimm. This allowed Graves and Bisceglia to pull away from the field , while Hart, T revor Portner and Daily trailed.
