Amateurs A big surprise in the B class overall, as Ron Pal ermo, once again, proved himself to be the fastest 250cc B but lost the overall to 200cc B class winner Paul Lemon. The West Virginian beat Honda rider Rod ney Judson and Kawasaki KXl25 -mounted David Black to win the 200cc B class and better Palermo by one minute. Palermo in tum put up a seven lap total to lead a six -bike parade of Yamahas across the finish lin e in the 250cc B group. Ohio's Jeff Lowery and J im Gillfillan rode second and third. Randy Mansberger was also right there wi th the front-runners, finishing on the same minute as Pa lermo while running away with the Vet B victory . Honda-mounted Scott Price won th e Open B class by three minutes over Flip jendre, while North Carolina's Harry Greenlee, once again, beat allcomers in the Super Senior race. Rick . Parsons won the Four-Stroke Brace, while John Gallagher topped Senior B class.
