Production race, and Arter was looking lor
reven ge. The raci ng was intense, especially at
the entrance to tum one, wh ich Arter termed
a " braking con test." At o ne point, Hayes had
his Yamaha FZR600 in the lead when Ar ter
lost control of hi s Honda CBR600 un der heavy
braking and nearly rear-ended Ha yes. On the
last lap , Hayes go t the back end kicked OUI
and Arter look adva nta ge to win by inch es.
