CNYMRA points event. a nd drew o ver 200
riders. Among the winners were Dan Swatli ng
in th e Amateu r class and Chad Brown. who
h u ng on to win the 125cc Ex pert clas s.

out as a Rob Nessel ru naway. By tb e third
la p Nessel had a big lead ahead of Bro wn a nd
Larry Maxwell, b ut Nessel cbarged into th e
whoops tOO fast and went ove r the bars. H e
rem ounted in midpack but cras hed again o n
the sa me lap. Th iS time Nessel was u nable
to co n tin ue. Brown in herit ed the lead bu t ha d
