Among the winners were Dan Swatli ng in th e Amateu r class and Chad Brown. who h u ng on to win the 125cc Ex pert clas s. Mo to one o f th e l 25c<' Expert class started out as a Rob Nessel ru naway. By tb e third la p Nessel had a big lead ahead of Bro wn a nd Larry Maxwell, b ut Nessel cbarged into th e whoops tOO fast and went ove r the bars. H e rem ounted in midpack but cras hed again o n the sa me lap. Th iS time Nessel was u nable to co n tin ue. Brown in herit ed the lead bu t ha d Maxwell right o n h is rear fen der. Bro wn tu rn ed up the ga s a nd opened a sl i~b t lead. Maxwell stay ed tb e sa me dista nce beh m d u n til th e mo ta's end. Greg Nel so n came in a di stan t th ird ahead o f Ed Brill.
