LaRocco passed him to finish fourth. . Jean-Mi chel Bayle (22, right) passed Tallon Vohland (80) to win th e seco nd 125cc moto and complete his sweep. Vohland finished second overa ll with a 3-2 score. J eH Emig (36) led the firstl25cc moto un til Bayle passed him, then held off Vohland to finish second. Emig fell wh ile battling with Sm ith for the lead in moto two. second 'a part , then Bradshaw began to get a wa y on the fourth lap. Further back Dubach, Tichenor and Fisher ba ttled for sixth. Dubach fin all y began to pull away, but then near the halfway po int he fell behind. Sta nt on moved in on J eff Ward and the two p ushed a head o f Larry Ward by lap six. Sta nto n kep t the pr essure o n Jeff Ward for a co uple of laps before Vard moved awa y as Bradsh aw came into view. Bu t when Bradsha w saw Ward, he just pi cked up hi s pace a nd cha rged awa y. " I got a good start a nd rode until there was p ressu re fro m Ward ," said Brad shaw. " I mad e so me mi stakes becau se 1was rid ing 100 slow. but I caugh t a second wi nd a nd once 1 go t some breat hin g roo m 1 was able to relax." Bradshaw 's second wind blew him to the finish line first as Ward backed off late in the race, . " I started closing on him, he wicked it up, 1 mad e some mi stakes an d that's all she wro te," said Ward. " My sore sho ulder star ted bot hering me because o f all the ruts so 1 just held on and go t what 1 could." Stanton stayed close to Ward for a whi le, but then backed off for ano ther third-place fin ish. " I was close bu t he gal around a lap ped rider quicker," said Stanton, " I go t uptigh t in stead of relaxing." La Rocco moved in on Suzuki teamma te Larry Wa rd and too k over fourth near the halfway point. Ward made a, last-lap charge to get h is pos ition bac k but it fai led. O 'M ara made severa l challenges a u Wa rd in the second half of the race but was never ab le LO get by a nd fin ished .sixth , Tichenor was seventh wh ile Dubach ma naged LO repass Fisher to claim eigh th . CN Results 12 couldn 't get close eno ugh to challenge before the fin ish. For severa l laps Bradshaw couldn' t close the gap on J eff Ward, but with a few laps remaining he began LO cut into Ward 's lead. A few bobbles by Ward allowed Bradshaw int o his shadow, but then with two laps to go Bradshaw slip ped back and seemed content to finish second. " I sho uld 've wa n," said Bradshaw. " I caugh t him three or four tim es, but th en a lapped rid er got in my way." " I must have made some mistakes," said Jeff Ward. " I was taking some areas pretty slow. " . . Stanton made a la te-race charge and passed LaRocco on th e l l th lap to fini sh a di stant third . Larry Ward struggled to finish sevent h ahead o f teammate Ron Tichenor. " I was just fightin g the bike," said Larry Ward. Fred Andrews was ninth whil e Kawasaki R&D rider Mike Fish er bauled with Mike Jones LO take 10th late in th e race. Larry Ward tried LO sweep arou nd the outside again a t th e start of rnoto two, bUI this tim e Bradshaw held the insi de line and raced a hea d as the pack head ed for th e second tum.
