Two circuits later, Pri ce had dispa tched both Adams and Han , selling his sights on Dorsey and leaving Ada ms and Han to tussle for third spo t. On lap seven, Price went ahea d to stay, al though Robert Lewis' washou t on the nex t trip aro und forced him to slow and a llo w Dorsey, Adams an d Har t 10 catch up, mak ing things interestin g for the rest of the race. At the fin ish it was Price, Do rsey, Han , Adams, Sweet en and Shipley. Co nnecticu t' s Ken neth Coo lbe th turned in perfect scores in both the 125 and 250cc classes, Sunday. Holding the 80 and 125cc Nati onal Amateur titles for the past thr ee years, the 13-year-old is moving up th is year to the 250. Ri ch ard Shipley holeshot all the q ualifiers and mains in bo th the 500 and 600cc classes, coming up with the win in the 500cc class. During the 600cc .qualifier, Shipley's mach ine blew a fork seal. Kirk Hayes loaned Sh ipley his own bik e, whil e Hayes compe ted in the main o n George Ga lloway's Yamaha.
