Ron Tichenor (6) and LaRocco (10) diced in the .second 250cc moto until they
both crashed into a lapped rider. Fortunately nobody was seriousl y injured.
Larry Ward (17) and Damon Bradshaw battled in the second 250cc moto until
Bradshaw crashed and Ward en countered mechanical problems on the same lap.

get th e wi n. I had good lin es, felt
smooth and just p lugged away. "

near the halfwa y point , but a few laps

" When I landed o n th e face of the

" I saw Sta n LOn com ing, but my arm s
were real tir ed a nd it was hard to hang
o n, " sa id Dubach . " I felt com fortable
rid in g th e pace I was a t a nd did n' t want
to th ro w it down ."

qu ickly to maintain fourth.

front o f me wh en r was in th e a ir a nd
th ere was n othing I co uld do," said
