This time, how ever, it was Brown 's turn to do the soil-sampli ng as Brown dropped his Honda in an orr-ca mber turn, leaving Sm ith out fron t alo ne. Brow n was q uic kly un derway' again and finished second behind Smith. Brown's runaway wi n in the final moto cl inc hed th e ove ra ll honors while Sm ith turned a poor sta rt in to a th ird-place finish to net seco nd over Ch ris Purcell and Ron n ie Frazi er.
