YAMAHA DAY
AT THE RACES
1990.
Daytona Beach International
Raceway. Home of one of the hottest races on the circuit. All the
big boys were there. But at the
end of the day, when the asphalt
was cooling, you would have
thought it was Yamaha Day at the
races. We came, we raced, we
conquered.
.
First the rSOcc 5uperbike
class: David Sadowski on his
Vance and Hines, Dunlop,
Yamaha FZR 7S0RR won the
grueling 200-mile main event.
The things Yamaha learns from
. this class get passed on to their
other bikes.
What can you say about the .
FZR 600R? Well, the word on the
street is, it's very hot. And very
cool. The word on the track Is, It's
the best-performing 600cc supersport bike in America. It won
Daytona '89. And came back this
year to place an incredible first
thrOugh seventh. Enough said.
