Graphics and Production Editorial When we mourn the loss of a loved o ne, es pec i a l l y knowing sh e's a specia l a n g el ' from H eaven and the m o st important person in your life, yo u mak e a last vow and hop e whatever you say for the one you love is all right. In May of last year. Bee Gee's illness was diagnosed as cancer. During the n ext 10 months. your support and love llooded her mail box daily with get well ca rd s and little mementos that provided her strength. That. along with ·th e daily phone calls that made her happy. meant more to her than anyone could ever do; until she was unable to accept calls late in her losing battle. From the day following our first vows to one another. motorcycling dominated our marriage, More than anything, she enjoyed life. She enjoyed people. The highlight of her life was working at the AMA. To her. everyone. was special. all the riders. mechanics. promoters. fans and all others who make up the sport she had an opportunity to come in contact with while working. During the worst time and the last two weeks. her pain was so insufferable that nothing helped, not even liquid morphine. Finally. on February 6, God ca me to take her home to Heaven to give her peace. It was very important to her that I make one last vow (as she reminded me several times during some of our talks) that I thank all of you through th e various motorcycle news media. ex p res sin g her thanks and appreciation with all her love for giving her yo u r best gifts - your love, warm th oughts and sin cere best wishes. I saw a letter in which the writer said he was seeking the address and phone number of the organizers of the August 12 500cc MX GP in Luxembourg. I am also going to attend some GPs this summer and would like the same info on the August 5 500cc MX GP in Belgium and the August 26 250cc MX GP in Germany. Matt Hachenberg Tucson,AZ Hold your letters. We'll publish organizer information as concerns all MX and road race GPs in an upcoming issue ... Ed itor. Fun together Having never ridden with more than about 15 people. I was somewhat apprehensive about riding the February 25 Soboba Trail Ride that drew 2oo-plus riders. Not only that, but many were top industry riders and prolessional racers. Even though my riding skills were less than most. I received a lot of help and encouragement when I needed it most from riders .1 didn 't even know. I think it is a credit to this sport when riders from novice'to pro can get together just for the purpose of having fun . My thanks go out to the Soboba Indian Tribe. Bob Graziano and the ride o rg a n izers for putting on one heck of a trail ridel And thanks also for the . honor of riding with trail ride leader Malcolm Smith - the man who still has the friendliest smil e in motorcycling!
