Four-cylinder fans recently had arude awakening when
we showed the racing world that our competition needs
twice the bike to do half as well as ahand-crafted Ducati.
One V-twin Ducati 851 Sport took top spot in both the
demanding Expert Unlimited Gran Prix Super Bike Class and
the grueling Expert Heavyweight Supertwins at the AMA
Championship Cup Series at Daytona.
Prepped by Eraldo Ferracci and ridden by Dale Quarterley,
Ducati dominated these two premier classes-proving once
and for all that two really is greater than four.
