then crui sed to th e chec kered flag u nc ha llenged as Veeder sett led int o seco nd and Jason
Fletch er held down third.
In th e 250cc Expert class it was Fletcher 's
turn to shine as he gOI th e ho lesh ot and led
wir e-to-wire with T illson finishing second
a nnd Veeder third.

qu ickly, making th e track surfa ce sli ppery.
T hese co nd itio ns made passing di fficu lt and
gave the edg e 10 the rid er wi th a good start,
Craig Es'e1le had suffered from bad starts a ll
da y, but fin ally go t off th e line first in th e
regular Open Expert final. Estelle was chased
by Tillson, Veeder and Fletch er but no o ne
was able to pick up a pos it io n as th ey frinished
just as th ey had started.
Another rid er wh o had success was Rober t
Lavi olett e in the Sen ior B class. Laviolette
bega n raci ng with th e Over-The-Hill gang
just this year and alread y has severa l wins to
