of the '86-87 model with an a ltered version of the '88-89 chassis. '
W ith the fa iring removed, note the long-stroke motor, new carbs, curved
o il cooler, four-into-one exhaust and remote reservoir for the rear shock.

Suzuki unveiled its latest sport bike offering
and announced much of its 1990 stree t bike
lineup at a press conference and test ride
at southern California's Willow , Sp rings
International Raceway.

Superbike tour this year, the new
GSXR750L does differ significantly
from the 1988-89 GSX R750j I K
models.
First, and most importantly, is
Suzuki's decis ion to return to the
bore and stroke of the original 198687 GSXR750G/ H models. The new
L model's cylinders measure
70 x 48.7mm for a displacement of
749cc, rather than th e 73 x 44.7mm
dimensions and 748cc displacement
