Kawasaki's JeffWard and Ieam lISA hit
paydirt at the annual Motocross des Nations in
Gaildorf, West Germany Jeff and his KX500 had
the top mark in the first moto for the 500cc class
win. Ieammates Jeff Stanton (250cc) and Mike
Kiedrowski (125cc) also won motos in their
classes to bring back the World Team Motocross
.Championship to America for the ninth consecutive year.
The victory marked the sixth tiriie Wardy's
been on the red, white and blue's winning team
