As the riders so rted the mse lves o ut, Rand y Betten . who had suffered a back-of-th e-pad : sta rt, was wo rki ng hi s wa y up through traffic, goi ng by SC R pilot Karl Fern a ndez, J eff Morr is, Rice and J eff Young by lap th ree.
