Topping off the weekend by surpassing the track m ileage record, previously held by the Humans. Kenny Kizzar won the 125 and 250cc A classes at Candies Creek. it was a two -ma n race unti l Brown gained the inside and broke past Kizzar wi th a slid e block on the final hairpi n. Even a fter a cras h, Kizzar remained in seco nd an d fin ished three seconds behind Bro wn. The final 250A moto was again a two-man race by the third · lac. Kizzar battled with Brown to keep the ead until th e seventh circuit when he moved. more than o ne or two bike len gth s ahead to wi n. Results We're Human Too, wins again, In Medium weight Production on thir Suzuki Katana 600, making it 7 for 7. Blastin g into the lead of the first 500<:c Pro moto Sean Conley set th e pac e with Grant Michaelson and Je ff Pestana in hot p ursuit. Michaelson got by Co nley on th e Iirst lap, and with Pesta na in tow . th e three pulled away [rom th e rest of the field. A few la ps later Pestana adv anced to second as Conleydropped off the pa ce. Michaelson and Pesta na d iced until the white flag appea red. Then, near th e end of th e last lap , the two rid ers bu m ped and Mich ael son went down. Pestana look th e win . wh il e Michael son rem ounted and fini shed seco nd ah ead of Conley. Michaelson pulled the holeshot in moto two with Pestana and Conley clo se behind. Conley sta yed with the du eling H ondas for a few laps but mechanical woes appeared and he was forced to slow . It was a back- and-forth battle, on ce aga in for Michaelson and Pestana. Then on th e last la p , a few turns from the checkered, contact took its 1011 a second ti me. This time. however . it wa s Pesta na . doing the so il sam pling. as Michaelso n went on to th e win and overa ll. Pestana still salvaged second and second overall whil e Jon Ni colaus finished th ird and thi rd overall. The 250<:c Pros proved to be a crowd pleaser as well. Danny Pa ladino pow ered into th e lead as the first moto sta rted while Ro n Allen , Con ley. Pestana. Shawn Frei ling and Pesta na jockeyed for pos itions behind him . Conley passed Allen and a lap la ter took the lead from Pa ladino. Pestan a moved from mi dfield to third to battle Pal ad ino. With two laps to go Pesta na got by Pal adino but Co n ley held on for the W In . Pestana a nd Pa lad in o took second a nd third with Frei ling fort h. . Mota two was a no ther Mich aelson/Pestan a du el that went to th e end wi th Pestana laki ng co n tro l with two laps to go. Co nley co uld only m uster a fifth in round two b U I with his ea rlier win he fin ished third o vera ll. Michaelso n was fourth o vera ll with a 5·2 score wi th Allen ro undi ng oUI th e l Op five.
