On th e MX co urse, the racing was so close th a t when Woods went over th e han d lebars. Alber! was also bro ught down in th e ensuing crash. Bot h riders q uick ly got their a ct to g ether with Woods managing to lead five laps wh ile Albert cou ld on ly mana ge two, BUI o ne of Albert's laps was th e one tha t counted -rhe mo st as he scored the victo ry with Woods o nly three seco nds behind. Carpenter was th e early lead er in moto o ne followed by Kevin Sweeney and Josh ua Steele.
