• It be rippin ' up time! Yup, Team
Yamaha took apart the month of
June-both on the road and off.
. Wanna know more? Here's the dirt
on motocross...
June18 was Ed Lojak Day in
West Virginia. Heswam by everyone
on hisVZ250WR intheBlackwater
100, even after several nasty swipes
by some slinkin' and slidin' mud
sharks.
ThenT Y
eam amahatook their
Off-Road Show up to C
anada-and
after mounting up on their VZ125's
at theMolson Supercross, they
showed 'em all what aCanadian
Mountie really was. It was laRocco
(1), Bradshaw (3) on DayOne. Then
theflip of that on DayTwo, withThe
Radshaw firstand LaRocco second
overall.
Don't stop readin' yet, dude,
'causehere come theroad races.
They came. They saw. They .
kicked asphalt. That's what John
Kocinski did in round four ofthe
AMA Grand Prix, blurring by everyone by over 19 seconds in the 250.
And that's what Cam Roos did, too,
buthedid it on a600.
And if that ain't enough, there
was theAMA Road America in
Wisconsin. Jeff Farmer (1) and John
Ashmead (2) inthe 600 Supersport,
RickAmaiz (1) and Jeff Farmer (2)
in the 750 Superbike, and Kocinski
first in the 250. Now this is becoming ahabit! .
OK, you can stop reading now,
'causewe're running out ofroom.
But if Team Yamaha keeps on winning likethis, we're gonna need more
space for theseads.
