Jim Neese (3) leads the combined 125cc Pro/Amateur class at Camp
Coker. Hank Moree (37) came from the rear to take the win.
In the 125cc Amateur class se~eral riders
took turns making a run at the leader Jason
Ragan, of Webster, New York. Ben Ottssner
of Clifton Springs, New York, spent the fust
moto trying to keep Ragan's rear fender in
~iew. Ragan started to put distance between
himself and Dressner, Wtth Donny Schmitt of
Rochester, New York, pulling third.
In the second moto D.P. Tool-sponsored
Schmitt, the 125cc Schoolboy winner of the
day, followed Ragan around the first turn and
refused to let up. Ragan at times would
expand his lead to three or four seconds, and
Schmitt would regroup and put on another
charge to apply pressure again. By the moto's
end Ragan won out as he wore down the first
year 125cc Amateur for the win.
