The 1989 Iron Butt Rally. an annual event that has entrants circumventing the U.S .• will leave Montgomeryville. Pennsylvania. on August 29 and return there on August 1 . The entry deadline is August 1 . Rally master George Egloff. a two-time Iron Butt Rally winner. will pre-ride the course in June. stopping during the 12.000-mile ride to promote the rally and this year's charity. which has yet to be announced.
