Getting straight to the point, each one of the big four manufacturers (rom Japan produce quality machines that are capable of winning in the hands of a given rider. And although we could claim one brand to be the winner, the consumer's winner is often determined by dealer support and the opportunity to offset some o( the costs of racing through the manufacturer's contingency program. In comparing the 1989 Honda CRI25, Kawasaki KXI25, Suzuki RMI25 and Yamaha YZI25 we have attempted to do just that, compare each machine, both on the track and off-track maintenance. We will give a general overview of what each bike does in areas suc h as power and handling, and also give you our personal preferences.
