More th an 160 riders signed up for a full da y's racing with hosts SMX and the CZ Owner 's Cl ub. Honda four-stroke rider Graeme Fox cro ssed the line th ird each time ou t. Fabry rod e another YZ in th e 125cc Expert class, beati ng Ho nda rider Joe Broussard with a 2-1 score. The largest of four Cl-onl y classes toda y was th e 250cc Stoc k d ivision , with 18 riders. John Pavi ch and Chris Carter were th e sta rs o f the sh o w, leading th e way in both rounds.
