T h e last cha nce was all Sco tt Scherb's as he rode to a n easy win o ver Merten s, Ma j eski , McC o y, Lloyd,'Gruber, j ohn Faulkner, Gary Davi s, who faded from an early th ird, Steve Kasten and Graybeal. . . The Pro-Am fin al h a d to ' be stop ped as Mike Eadie ' and Mike Varnes tangled in turn th ree. Eadie could not make th e restart a nd was rep laced by Du ane Sta nick. " I was h aving 'trou ble getti ng through turns one and two b ut Steve showed me the fast line the first cou p le of laps and I moved u p to his line when I got by," said Davis.
