Hamann lost o nly 12 poi nts in th e first loop (co m p r isi n g o f 10 sectio ns each ). Tho rdarson followed with 24 po in ts a nd Kevin Norton was third with 32 points. The seco nd a nd th ird loops were almost a repeat of th e first loop with Hamann extending hi s poi nts lead. The finish showed Haman n with o nly 35 po ints lost . Martini topped th e 80cc Expert and Amateur clas ses, respectively , at th e highly unusual Langtown Arenacross, All riders start out racing together in three heat races with the winners goi ng directly in to th e Expert main. The riders who are left over co ntin ue o n to two semi s and a Last Cha nce Qualifier with the winners also earning a direct transfer to the Expert. mai n. All o ther riders ride in th e Amat eur final. In the heat races, Drew Ol ivia, Jimmy Lewis and John Killian each topped th eir field by co mbin ing good sta rts with clean riding. fn the first sem i. In the Amateur main, Doggrel grabbed the early lead a nd led C three laps until Martini or cam e from a seven th place stan to knock down the Honda pilot and tak e over the lead. During the remainder of th e final, Mar lando and Nezbeth battled Cor seco nd. Martini took the win, Collo wed by Mariando, Nezbeth and Doggrel.
