Teams of speedway racers from Denmark, Great Britain and Sweden will join an American team in the 29th Annual World Team Cup at Veterans Stadium in Long Beach , California, September 10. The event will mark the second time the World Team Cup has been held at Long Beach. foIlowing a successful staging of the World Championship competition in 1985that saw Denmark edge the host Americans for the title. Denmark has won five consective World Team Cup Championships and this year they'I1 be led by twotime defending Wor ld Champion Hans Nielsen and Eric Gundersen, the only rider in speedway history to hold four World Championship titles at the same time. Gunderson won the individual and long track titles, and was a member of the pairs and team that won titles in 1984.
