At the co nclusio n of th e event on Sunday, Caspe r borrowed Bob Fisher's 1200 H arley and attempted his first ever hilldimb. Casper went 160 feet before looping i t. Casper said, " I' ve always wanted to do that and now that I have I think I'll reti re." .. Sixty-six -year-old Dorance Johnson, one of th e truly great hillcimbers past and present, has made th e concession: Dorance put shocks on his used-to-be hard-tailed 750 BSA. Dorance climbed 176 feet. The yo ungest rider was seven-yearold Paul H ayes II. Young H ayes broke the lights but couldn't get over the tabl etop.
