Donny Sc hmit grabbed the holeshot at the start of the first 125cc moto. Schmit won both motos for his second straight overall w in at Millville.
Team Honda's Guy Cooper (5) briefly led Schmit in the second moto.
Cooper ended up taking second overall via a 2-5 tally.

fourth overall at the Troy, Ohm,
National, while Schmit captured his
first wm of the senes in the l25cc
class. .
Although johnson and Schmit
were tops in Mi,llville, it w~s re~ lly
George Holland s day. Despite bei ng
sick the past two weeks and riding
only once since the Ohio National,
the factory Honda rider from Kerman , California, clinched the
National Championship l25cc MX
Series title after finishing third in the
first moto.
"It's a big relief," said Holland.
"I've had nothing else but the
championship on my ~in~ for the
past two months, so I think It'S gomg
to take a while before it really sinks
in. My goal today was to just clinch
the title in the first moto, I've been
,s ick ever since I got back from Ohio;
I've been feeling kind of weak ."
johnson, on the other hand,
wanted to win the Millville National
badly after Lechien - johnson's
closest rival - won both motos in
Ohio. In revenge , johnson stormed
back and won both motos, today,
fairly easily.
" I wanted to prove to everyone that
I don't give up even if I get beat,"
said johnson.
