Th rough th e temperate and rain forests, into th e grasslands, across sands and mount ains. In this log-sawing fan tasy, Zool ogical becam e Motol ogical. A corn ucopia of creatures with - w hat's th is? - LA T· IN A T E NA MES ! Yeah! Th ere was that big elep han t bike - Loxodonta cagivana. Thunderin g out of the bush! And! Faster than a chee tah, fastest of th em all , th is ,{cin onyx ju batus zee ex tenus! And w hat's that th ere? Macrop us gigan teus arem toojijteeu m , th ose hot kangaroo jumpers. And, qu ick as the black cobra, a N aja naja ninja. Were these motorcycles alive? Did th ey cry out th eir Call of th e Wild? Was th e scientific Panthera leo persica really some lion in an FZR su it? Or GS X R ? Was this Equus zebra a striped Intercep tor? Thalarctos m aritimus som e kind of polar Hurrican e? Wh at about Gorilla gorill a? Harl ey harley?! Huh? A nd Camelus dromedarius! A deserttoned Go ld Wi ng? He ll, th ere were tuiow heeled leopards and raccoons and even T asman ian dev il s. Felis marmorat a, Pongo pygrnaeus, La ma glam a glama. An d how about Bison bison bison? Which motor was that? Was the biggest cat of all, Pan thera tigris alta ica, really a reborn V-Max in disguise? Or w hat? They were all revving and charging and kick ing up a storm. H ow about th is vicious Crocod ylus palustris, that slin ky Vara· nus uarius, th is fl eet Felis pa rdalis? If all th e motorcycles were animals; was I th en th eir Tam er, or H u n ter?
