IN THE WIND P32 DeCoster, KTM Agree To Two-Year Contract Extension K TM announced that Roger DeCoster signed a two-year contract extension to continue his strategic role as Director of Motorsports in North America. Currently in his 10th year with the KTM family, DeCoster's new agreement will extend through the 2022 race season. Stefan Pierer, CEO KTM AG, said, "We are thrilled to continue an even stronger partnership with Roger as the backbone of our supercross and motocross division in North America. His ongoing commitment to push our brands to a winning stature is undeniable and we look forward to continuing the growth of U.S. motorsport strategy under Roger's supervision." Roger DeCoster said, "I'm happy to re-sign for another two years, and I'm proud to continue working with a com- pany who is so dedicated to their racing efforts. I'd like to thank Mr. Pierer, Pit [Beirer, KTM Motorsports Director] and all the guys who work so hard to allow us to be where we want to be." CN Roger DeCoster will remain with KTM for at least another two years. Plessinger To Miss Start Of MX Series A aron Plessinger, of the Monster Energy Yamaha Team, will sit out the start of the 2020 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Champion- ship with a wrist injury. On Tuesday, July 14, the 2018 250MX champion dislocated his wrist when he crashed while training at Fox Raceway in Pala, Cali- fornia. He underwent surgery the next day and is expected to be out of action for at least 12 weeks. "I spoke with Aaron last night after his surgery, and it sounds as if it went very well," said Jim Roach, the Yamaha Racing Department Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA. "Unfortunately, a dislocated wrist can mean a long recovery time." CN Aaron Plessinger suffered a dislocated wrist while training at Fox Raceway.
