It has been a long time coming,
but Fabio Quartararo finally broke
through for his first MotoGP
victory. His ride was measured
and assured, as the chasing pack
squabbled, bashed and crashed
behind him. Quartararo's pace
is ominous for the pack as the
following round is this weekend at
the same venue. Quartararo's win
was the first for an independent
team rider since Jack Miller at the
2016 Dutch TT at Assen on the
Marc VDS Honda.
