Unnanimous ly voted to oppose P roposition 70, a 776 mill ion bond measure to raise money for th e Parks Depart m ent , because OHV user s would no t benefit from the initiative bu t would face higher taxes; Unanimously approved a motion to begin acq uisition of Ro ug h Acres Ranch in San Diego County; the 1960 acre ranch wo uld cost $3. 1 million a n d would su bs ta ntia lly complim en t th e Burea u of La nd Management's Lark Canyon O H V area.
