Winners at the Cycle News People 's Choice Motorcycle Show which took place on Friday, May 20. at Orange County Fair grounds in Costa Mesa, California, included Jerry Lamb's 1986 Yamaha FZ750 in the Sport class, Uoyd McDaniels' 1976 Harle yDavidson in the Custom category, and Tom Cirello's 1916 Indian sidecar rig in the Classici Antique class. The flag wa s sign ed by each of th e riders who rode in Ascot's ma in event, during which Boody lost hi s life. G ra nd National Champion Bub ba Shobert carried th e flag for a lap of honor around San Jose's m ile oval during opening ceremonies a nd O ld G lory was lo wered to half mast during the Nationa l Anthem.
