Bosis secured his third place finish by tying Michaud and Tarres at 16 on the final lap, while Saunders logged 18. Fantic-mounted Italian Donato Miglio scored 18 on the third lap after opening laps of 25 and 28 to take fifth over Bela-mounted Finn Peter jahn, 77 to 81. R og er s topped the second 125cc Pro moto to end Beyer's chances for a sweep of pro action; Beyer did, however, win both 250cc Pro contests. The program, the final round in the Winter/Spring Series before the stan of the Northwest Motocross Champ ionship Series, was kicked off by clear skies and chilly temperatures, but just like typical Oregon weather, things took a turn for the worse and by the second moto over one inch of rain had fallen. Beyer took advantage of a dry first mo to in the 250cc Pro class and led Rob Annen, Rogers, Dennis Swee ten and Suzuki-mounted John Foeckler to the finish. Beyer shot out fro nt of the pack in the second moto which was held during a downpour and led Rogers, Sweeten, Annen, Tracy Bethe l and Foeckler into turn one.
