A ca m pa ign by off-road vehicle user groups , particu larly th e Ca lifornia Off- Road Vehicle Assoc iation (CO R VA), may have led to Ago nia's attempts to kiss and make up with the off-roa d co mm u nity. CO RVA recently targeted Ago n ia _in its news letter, urging o ff-roa ders to write to their state senators seeki ng a " no" vote on Agonia's confirmation. Accor di ng to CO RVA, thei r campaign has had an i mpact. CO RVA officials say 17 o u t of 40 state senators have indicated th ey will not support Agonia in a floor vote.
