Fifth overall and th e 250cc honors went to KX250 pi lot Pal en ske, "Scott Morris and I were di cing for th e 250 lead most of th e way. He caught me after th e second ga s because I got a flat ab out 20 miles into th e loo p, but he had no front brakes so we were about even. We had a go od close race all th e way to the fin ish ." Overall 125cc winner Folks said, " It was rea ll y du sty a t the beginning and prett y tough for everyo ne th at didn 't ge t a go od start, bu t after I got o ut of th e dust 1 didn 't have any problem s." District 37 ace Kenny Parry continued hi s clea n sweep of th e Vet division, taking hi s third win in th e Championship series in 24th overall with Michael Burke taking second and Pete Sh eehan finishing third.
