Enduro in Georgetown, California, has been cancelled . The little
Polecat National Enduro in Twain
Harte, California: will be held April
24 as scheduled. It has been
confirmed by the AMA that the
Fools Gold round has been reseheduled for October 23, in Redding,
California, hosted by the Redding
Dirt Riders.

Suzuki/Wiseco Cross Country Series

Californian Goat Breker (Hon)
won the international motocross
race in Beaucaire, France, February 21, with a 6-2-2 performance.

March 6, according to the Kern
County Coroner's Office. Although
an au topsy hadn 't been performed as
of our press time, unofficial sources
sa id it appeared as though Fidanza
suffered a hea rt attack.
Another race-related death
occured March 5 at the Viewfinders G .P. in Riverside, California,
when Neil Fearing, 54, of Anaheim, Califomia, pulled out of the
race and suffered a heart attack
in the pits, according to a spokesman for Performance Cycle of
Anaheim. Fearing was owner of
Galaxy Wholesale and part owner
of Performance Cycle. He is survived by his wife Della, son Keith.
and daughter Debbie.

the Sena te Transportatio n Co mmittee ·o n February 25. A motion to
reconsider the bill was defeated the
next day whe n only eig h t of 14
committee members bothered to vote
o n the issue. Under special co mmi ttee rules, th e bill needed eigh t of 14
