The Daytona 1000R USA Moto Guzzi represents the first joint development project between the factory and consulting engineer Wittner. The Day to na 1000R USA V-twin features four valves per cylinder, and a belt-driven single overhead cam. The '88 racing season evalua tio n by Brauneck and Wittner will determine th e suitabil i ty of this design for production bikes.
