" I just rod e conservatively," Cunningham said, "or as co nserva tively as possible. I went 3-3 in the last loo p and Randy a nd Larry went 2-2 and that was th e difference in the race. If I would 've had a shock, I think it wou ld've been a little different story, but I'm pleased." " I love the bike, it was a lot of fun, " said fourth p la ce finish er Bertram. " I didn 't have a ny problems, I just kind of rode along and tried to be consistent. I've only had the bike a week o r so, so I' m still tryi ng to get used to it. It 's a big change from the Husky, that 's for sure, I need a litt le practi ce with th e clutch , yet , but I'm pretty clos e." (Bert ram used to ride a Husqvarna 430cc Automatic). This was my first rid e 0 11 th e Yamaha a nd I like it ," said Ru ssell. " I borrow ed this one from th e shop, so I hav en 't set one up for myself yet, but it worked reall y well. I just wish I would 've had brakes in that last section , it wo uld 've ' made a bi g di fference, espec ia lly out here with so many h ills."
