Leach posted 2-1 rides to net th e win o n Friday a nd wo n both motos co nvinc in gl y o n Sa tu rday. Leach swap ped rn oto wins wi th Honda-mounted Dan Kenyon durin g Friday's program to earn h is fir st win of th e weekend, which doubled as h is fir st win ab oard hi s n ew 1988 Cagiva 125. Third in Friday's action went the wa y of Yamaha rider Gl endal Hansen , who posted 3-2 showings. On Saturday, Leach 's secon d win o f the weekend came after he soundl y thrashed th e co m pe ti tion , which included second pl ace finisher jeff Payne and Kinyon, who took third after 3-3 rides. Rodney Kell er , a n ex-p ro m aking a co meback a fter a two- year la yoff, al so h ad a busy weekend. Keller clobbered th e co mpetitio n in th e 250 cc Intermediate/juni or class. Honda rider Keller held Frank McKuhn at ba y to n ab wins in both rnotos, good for th e overall win via I-I tall ies. McKuhn (2-2) a n d Tress Belcher (3-3) followed in th e overa lls . Keith DiB rino took both mot os in th e junior portion beating Shane Donaca and Ken Parker .
