Preston got by Tu rner early to tak e th e win in moto one, a nd in th e second round he pass ed Turner on lap two then held him off for th e win. Turner sta yed clo se th e whole way.iand fin ished the series five points behind Preston . Ken Zahrt posted 4-3 scores for third overall and third in the series. Budd y Antunez jumped out to early leads in both Mini Expert mo tos for th e o vera ll win. Butch Smith trailed in second for second overall. The real ba ttl e was for th ird betw ee n J o el Albrecht, Dus t i n Evans, T ommy Clowers, Da na Wiggins a nd Spud Wa lters. Albrecht cam e out wi th third o vera ll after 35 pe rformances, and Evans bea t out Clowers for fourth overa ll.
