Mo to o ne in the Mini class had the la rgest . turno ut of r iders as Anderson grabbed the lead a nd went wire-to- wire wit hou t loo kin g back. Behind h im in o rde r was Ern ie Gend ro n , J erem y Pentland, Greg Flores, Cha nce Frasure a nd Tony Stra d ley. On la p o ne in turn four .Flores went down but got goi ng again sh ort ly. Meanwhi le Pentla nd worked his way by Gendron after severa l laps of close ridin g, Up front Anderso n had stretched hISlead to 30 yards o n the others. At th e fini sh it was And erson, Pentland, Gendron , Flores, Frasure a nd Stradl ey. As An derson left everyone behind the la ps came to an end with all positions remaining unchanged. At the checkered flag it was Anderson; Pen tla nd, Gen dron, Flores and the others. In the first moto of the Four-Stroke Open cla ss Rick LaVoy got the lead ah ead of Jim Perry , Kevin Bassk, Rick Stradley and Rod Stradley. The tri o ou t front rem ained wh eel-towh eel for almost three laps a nd th en Perry slid by 'LaVoy for th e lead;) Perry built up a sizeable lead by th tim e the white flag came OUL Wit~) less th an a lap left Bass go t by La VOY d for second. At th e end it was Perry _ Bass, LaV oy, Ri ck a nd Ron Stradley. Perry got th e lead in the second J moto a hea d of Bass, La Voy a nd Rick Stradley. On lap three Rod passed ) bro th er Rick for fourth. Up fron t Bass was han ging on to Perry as th duo left the o the rs 40 yards behi nd. J ones won the 125cc Pro cla ss th e first two days,Yl whil e Hand did the same in th e 250cc Pro class and fini shed second to J eff Gl ass o n the final day . In Friday's 125cc Pro heats it was J ones lead in g Mark Mu sselman and Hand in th e first heat to adva nce to th e final. Mike Bias ' passed J ason Gray ea rl y in the second heat and led him across the finish line to make th e final. At the start of th e main it was ) Hand and Mu sselman side -by-side in turn one with H and taking th e lead as J ones and Bias slip ped into second ' a nd third. J on es took th e lead o n lape! two while Bias tried to find a waya to ge t by H and. Jones maintained ) the lead for the wi n wi th Han d holdin g off Bias for second. In the 250cc P ro m ain H a nd jumped ou t fro n t wi th J ones in p ursui t. Hand a nd J on es ba ttl ed for severa l la ps until th e two bumped in a turn and J ones went do wn . BIas, in th ird, closed in o n J ones. As th e white flag came o ut th e top three entered tra ffic. J ones pressured Hand a nd bumped his rear wheel in the final turn but was unabl e to get by. Bias finished thi rd. T he fir st l 25cc Pro heat on Sa turday fea tured Ha nd landing the win ahead of Bias a nd Brent Blevin s. J o nes passed Rich Hal stead to take th e wi n in heat two wh ile J oseph Maurer work ed his way into third. Halstead secured a comfortable lead as a th reewa y battle . for seco nd develo ped between Musselman, Bias and Jones. Jones pulled alongside Bias over the tr iples, th en sq ueezed by in a turn to take over third. J ones then breezed by Mu sselman in th e stutter bu mps and proceeded to clo se th e gap on Ha lstead. In a wid e sweeper Halstead almost lost it and J ones took advan tage of the situatio n a nd pulled
