It's a relatively short video, approxemately 20 minutes in length, covering basic maintenance procedures on Kawasaki KX motorcycles. The video is well produced, and the narration by Bruce Flanders is first class all the way. Flanders does a good job keeping the viewer en tertained and glued to the screen througho u t the video, des pite the not-50 -exci ting topic. Sh o rt actual race clippings of T eam Kawasaki factory motocrossers J eU Ward and Ron Lechien are fea tu red at the beginning of the video, with Flanders briefly describing what Team Green Kawasaki race team is all about, then he emphasizes the importance of properly maintaining a r a ce bike, th e whol e p urpose of th e vid eo. The rest of th e video is filmed mostly insi de a workshop, starting with the art o f cleaning the moto rcycle after a race. There's a T eam Green mec hanic in th e video showing how the work is su pposed to be done. Ca me ra work is good, so the viewer can see a ll what is being done in de tail a nd close up. After showing th e p roper tech nique o f clea ning the motor cycle, th e video covers all th e ho t ti ps for maintainin g and prepping the bike for th e next race, such as servicing the ai r filter, adj usti ng the chain, inspectin g th e frame for damage, choosing th e righ t tire, usin g the correct tire pressu re, selecti ng the ' righ t kind o f gasolinc. vand lubing all th e needed part s, ' Basic Maintenance: The Tea m Green Wa y is a video wo r th watching, especia lly fo r so meone just 'getti ng invol ved in th e sport, and there are proba bly some ti ps th a t even a veteran wre nch could use. T his isn't a video you 're goi ng to wa nt to wa tch five times a day or anything, but po pping th e cassette into the VCR every once in a whil e, wi ll most ' likel y remind yo u of basic and simple procedu res that you could 've easily forgotten . Don't think that this tape can't help you if you don' t own a Kawasaki.
