Dirt tracker Bubba Shobert (left) and motocrosser Rick Johnson were
named Pro Athletes of Year at the AMA Awards Banquet, held November
6 in Long Beach, California . In 1987, Shobert captured Camel Pro and
National Dirt Track titles, while Johnson claimed 250 and 500cc National
Motocross championships.
