B ~ L.og Road's Good wins lightweight C By Joyce Petrtyl COLDWATER, MI, SEPT. 20 Kurt Gerlofs took an early and continued lead of the 250cc B class for the win today on Log Road TN-T's fastest motocross track. Greg Dalm an passed Tim Hockey for third and moved up to pressure second position John Kaminski. The pace increased when Dalmon piloted his Yamaha after Kaminski battling to the checkered flag with Kaminski prevailing. . Richie Bolenba ugh was quick off the, line and in the lead of the 250cc A riders with Andy Michner hot on his tail. Michner reeled Bolenbaugh in and took over the lead. Darren Kora leski squeaked his bike in front of Chris Vanderwille in tum two to take over third position. Jeff Keel led the O ld Bike class with Pat Jarvis in secon d and Ronald Kendrick in third. Kendrick pressured Jarvis around the sweeper passing Jarvis at the hairpin turn on ly for Jarvis to pass him back to finish in that order. .Jeff Good charged his Kawasaki into the lead of the Lightweight C class pulling ahead to maintain a large lead all moto wi th Kyle Polter in second. Third position Todd Alterman was pressured as Hondamounted Bob Nelson tri ed . to maneuver around in the berm before the wall but Alterm an closed the door. Then Nelsori, at Alt erm an 's back ·t ire, battled through the four jumps 'and mov ed up sid e-by-side into th e hairpin turn and gassed his bike past Alterman's Kawasaki. • Results 500 AUTO : 1.
